Integrative psychotherapist specializing in Attachment and Somatic Psychotherapy. I work with PTSD, complex trauma, developmental, relational, and intergenerational attachment wounds. Formal training in Somatic Experiencing (SE), Hakomi, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Focusing‑Oriented Therapy, Felt Sense Polyvagal Model, and Clinical Hypnotherapy, blending mind‑body work with relational depth.
The workshop offers an integrative approach to understanding attachment and relational trauma. We’ll explore how early caregiving shapes the nervous system, lifelong emotional patterns and the different attachment styles that show up in therapy.
Interventions and tools integrates neuroscience, polyvagal theory, somatic therapy (SE and Hakomi), parts work (IFS), and hypnotherapy to help therapists attune to body-based cues, pace sessions safely, respond to ruptures, and support co-regulation.
ATTACHMENT WORKSHOP
Day 1 Roadmap to Attachment Patterns
Introduction to a developmental and relational framework for understanding attachment. We’ll explore how early caregiving shapes the neurological and physiological foundations of attachment, with attention to how dysregulation, hyperarousal, and hypoarousal emerge during childhood, and the long-term effects of developmental trauma. You’ll gain a working understanding of the four primary attachment styles, including clinical examples. We’ll also reflect on the therapist’s role as a secure base, using a specialised attachment-based model to guide the relationship.
Day 2 Working with Attachment in the Room
A practical focus on recognising and responding to attachment patterns, unresolved trauma, CPTSD as they emerge in therapy. We’ll examine avoidant, anxious, disorganised, and mixed presentations through body cues, emotional defences, and autonomic responses. Interventions integrate various mind and body modalities, with an emphasis on attunement, relational repair, pacing, and therapist self‑regulation.
